LG A1 Series notebooksLG has just released the A1 series of notebooks, according to a Press release. The A1 series notebooks, measure a mere 272×187×22.5mm and weigh a just 1.05 kgs. Powering this tiny powerhouse is a Intel Core Duo processor along with a GeForce Go 7300 GPU for handling the graphics. The display is 10.6 inches wide and supports a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. The A1 also comes with a 80 GB hard drive and optional Wi-max.

However, the A1 series has one serious drawback which is the absence of Wi-Fi, which makes the requirement of a PCMCIA Wi-Fi card come into play. Pricing and availability of the notebooks is not known yet.
